Trevor & Jenny
Jenny and Trevor’s wedding took months of careful planning and preparation.
Now I know that ALL weddings require this, however, the planning that went into this had to go the extra mile.
In fact it had to go 10563.310 miles, as the Crow Flies, as whilst much of the planning took place in Cheshire, the Wedding itself was to take place in Sidney, Australia.
Jenny wanted to locally source items with a foot in each country, but it was these carefully considered and locally sourced details that make today’s Real Wedding so special. That, and a stunning leading lady!

How did you meet?
Jenny said “Originally from Australia, we met on a night out in Warrington, England some 9 years when I was traveling and working in England. Our eyes met across a crowded dance floor on a chance encounter. After exchanging numbers and a week of texting and chatting on the phone, we agreed to meet up and the rest is history ………”

Hair & Makeup
Vickie Gourley, a personal friend from Christopher Hair Salon made the trip all the way from Newton Le Willows, Warrington, England, to do Jenny’s hair for her big day. As did the talented Debbie Westwell, another personal friend, who came along to do the make-up.
Describe the Bridesmaids outfits
My Matron of Honour chose a stunning one shouldered Berry coloured High Twist Chiffon designed and made to measure by MR K in Sydney, Australia.
As our daughter was our flowergirl, we had her dress, called ‘Dottie’, made to measure by Busy B’s Bridal in Lincoln, England.
The Groom, Trevor, wore a suit from Hugo Boss UK, whilst the Best Man and Father of the Groom were wearing suits from M&S, UK.
Jenny, Please Describe THE dress
After walking into the Confetti Box Bridal Centre in Manchester England, and trying on several wedding gowns, I fell in love with a Sottero and Midgley dress called ‘Gracie’.
It was an A-line skirt made of Bordeaux taffeta in Ivory.
Stuart Leal Photography. Stuart was totally professional and supportive throughout, creating the most memorable and amazing photos of our wedding day. The standard of his photographs are second to none and his enthusiasm and passion for his work is obvious.
We had an array of flowers from the Large Bloom Arrangements in Purple and Greenery in Urns at our ceremony to the Tall, Full and Fluffy Purple Bloom and Greenery design in New York vases. There were surrounded by tea lights on mirrored plates at our reception, all supplied by Jessica at Anjelic Events and Design. Jessica also supplied all the Bridal party flowers including the bridal and flower girl bouquets in Ivory Blooms of Roses, David Austin Roses and Lisianthis, and the Matron of Honour flowers in Purple Blooms of Roses, David Austin Roses and Lisianthis in shades of purple.
“Our modern and slick invites and all aspects of stationery were designed and supplied by Hattie Boo Designs, based in the Hatton, Warrington, England. Everything had to be planned to work with venue dressers in Sydney so many pdf files were created to fit inside glass coasters, that were personalised and used as favours.”
We chose a two tiered Alaska (White Mud), Buttercream and Jam Round Cake decorated with purple ribbon, and three tones of purple iced circles – supplied by Casa Del
Wolfies – Harbourview Room and Bar Room
What were your favourite parts of your Wedding Reception?
Every aspect of our reception was so memorable, from entering the reception room at Wolfies and being blown away at the chic, elegant setting of the room, the mouth watering food and never ending drinks, the heart felt speeches and cutting of the cake, the endless dancing and the trip back to the hotel with all our family and friends carrying our gifts, flowers and our sleeping daughter from the reception. The evening came to an end at 3am after an impromptu gathering of family and friends in our bridal suite ……… the best day of our lives!!!!!!
Variety Wedding Cars , by Lee Singleton provided these. I was driven in the same Rolls Royce Silver Wraith that the Royal family were driven in during a visit in the 1950’s and more recently Nicole Kidman for her marriage to Keith Urban.
We used Maestro Entertainment – we supplied the DJ with a list of 70 songs that we wanted played throughout the evening and by the end of the night nearly all of the songs we requested had been heard and danced to by us and our guests.
We had 4 days in the Shangri La Hotel in Sydney as we have travelled from England for our wedding with family and friends
Describe your day…
They say every girl dreams of a perfect wedding …… and ours was definitely that! It felt just like a fairytale ………. The most amazing day of our lives!
All our dreams came true being married in such an iconic setting opposite the Opera House at Hickson Road Reserve. It was a day of sharing and celebrating our dream of becoming husband and wife with our daughter and close family and friends.

Working with Lauren, Casey and Sasha from Wolfies has been amazing – from the minute we chose Wolfies as our venue, they have been so helpful in answering our many questions and offering us such support whilst organising the wedding from England. Trust in everything they say – they are complete professionals at what they do. They were a superb team – to say they are simply the best is an understatement.
